MESSAGE FROM THE POLICE CHIEF It is my pleasure to serve the citizens of Sainte-Anne as the new Chief of Police. I would like to thank the community for their warm and friendly welcome. The citizens of Sainte-Anne have been fantastic and we look forward to setting roots in the community.
As Chief, my goal is to see that we utilize the resources available to us in the most effective, efficient manner, as well as planning for the department’s future. We are currently in the process of developing our 2009-2010 Strategic Plan. We will be seeking valuable input from residents and local businesses in order to map the direction of the department. As part of this, the Sainte-Anne Police will be conducting a survey with our citizens to determine the level of satisfaction and whether our department is addressing the needs of the community. With the continued support of the citizens of Sainte-Anne and the dedicated officers that police it, I feel confident that our community remains one of the safest places in Manitoba to live and raise a family.
Marc Robichaud, Chief of Police

2010 Community Survey
The survey covers a wide aspect of services performed by the Department, as well as what citizens feel are crime problems in their town. This year, a door to door handout survey was used to collect data from the citizens of Sainte- Anne. This method allowed for face to face communication. Officers were able to discuss issues in person with citizens and collect surveys that were dropped off at both the Town of Sainte- Anne office and the Police department.
In order to have an un-biased, balanced and fair representation of Sainte- Anne all citizens were given an opportunity to respond. The resident list contained 284 households. A total of 69 responses were received which was within the target range of 50-75 respondents, based on a 25% response rate.
This report was compiled by all of the obtained data. Each section contains a table number, which coincides with the actual survey. Additionally, each table has a figure or chart, along with an explanation.
